ICANN was and is a unique mode of multi-stakeholder decision making for the global task of coordinating the Internet's unique identifiers. One man more than any other has helped to make that vision a reality: Vinton G.Cerf.

ICANN's 30th meeting in October 2007 saw the conclusion of Vint's eight years of service as chairman to be Board. ICANN and the Internet community decided to send him off in style...

Ceremonies were held at Sony Studios in Los Angeles, and included a number of distinguished speakers paying tribute to this unique man, Vint Cerf.
